& just in case any one is interested... my family name 'RALPHS' can be traced to Shropshire, England. Where, in the 1400's the Ralphs' were living in a small village called Marton. They were carpenters so I guess it's in the blood...

The Supermarket chain in the USA called ... wait for it 'RALPHS' was founded by one of my distant ancestors and we also lay claim to at least one US Sheriff a Knight of the realm and the guiatrist Mick Ralphs from Mott the Hoople and Bad Company. Just don't call us Ralph... We've has that 'S' for over 700 years and we want it for the next 700!
